Sir Ben Elliot established Quintessentially Foundation in 2008. We’ve since raised more than £15 million for over 50 charity partners through innovative initiatives and events.

Initially, we supported a number of charities across a range of societal issues. We formed charity partnerships with War Child, Place2Be, Maggie’s Centres, Elephant Family, Rays of Sunshine, Grief Encounter, The Ruth Strauss Foundation and The Childhood Trust.

Ben was also a driving force behind London’s first ever not-for-profit members’ club, Quintessentially Soho at The House of St Barnabas. Opened in 2009, the club helped raise money to support training programmes for London’s homeless.

Backing The Felix Project

Between 2017 and 2021, we worked with The Felix Project, London’s largest food redistribution charity, to help it grow exponentially. Over the course of our partnership, the number of meals the charity delivered per day grew from 6,000 to 100,000. We also raised £3 million, and diverted £1 billion of surplus food to families in need.

Pivoting to The Firefly Project

In 2022, we made a pivotal shift in our mission to focus on addressing the pressing needs of those closest to us – right here in London. This led to the creation of The Firefly Project, supporting small, high-potential charities to transform the lives of the capital’s most vulnerable children and young people.
