In London today, 700,000 children are living in poverty. Little Village was founded in 2016 to address this awful statistic.
They operate a collection of baby banks that provide crucial resources to young children and their families, including clothes, toys and equipment. Families are referred to Little Village via a range of professionals, including midwives, social workers and children’s centres.
We provided Little Village with nearly £250,000 in funding over their three years on The Firefly Project. Our development grants supported the charity to develop their marketing strategy, including creating a promotional video and branding materials for their hubs. We also helped them find pro bono PR support using our network. Better marketing has cemented the charity as a front runner of baby banks in the UK.
Quintessentially employees and employees of our corporate partner Riskhub spent 119 hours volunteering in Little Village’s hubs too, expanding the charity’s capacity to support families and sharing their skills.
