Several studies estimate that 40% of teenagers are in an abusive dating relationship, and more than 25% of domestic violence cases involve technology and social media.
Let Me Know, founded in 2016, educates children in schools and their local communities about the signs of unhealthy relationships, and how to access support if they need it.
At the early stages of our partnership with Let Me Know, we’ve already provided them with £142,000.
Alongside £50,000 of unrestricted funding, we’ve given £92,000 in development grants. This has allowed the charity to fund a new marketing role for two years, and consultancy opportunities. These grants will allow Let Me Know to develop a marketing strategy to help them to build their profile, create more partnerships and ultimately educate more young people about relationships.
We’ve also used our network to provide Let Me Know with pro bono coaching and potential partnerships with top schools and universities, including The University of Manchester.
As of 2024, Let Me Know support 6,269 young people a year across schools and community settings in 17 London boroughs. We hope that throughout our partnership, Let Me Know will scale their operations to reach even more young people in London.
