Sonya is a fundraising consultant and set up her business, The Philanthropy Consultant, in 2022 to support charities raising under £5 million to develop impactful and effective philanthropy strategies.

She has 27 years’ experience in high-value fundraising, securing six- and seven-figure gifts from philanthropists, companies, trusts, family foundations and special events at small, medium and large national charities and NGOs. These include Comic Relief, NSPCC, Marie Curie, Little Village and The Circle. She is currently executive director at Magic Bus UK.

Sonya has been a trustee for over 15 years at organisations including Endometriosis UK, Elephant Family and Acts of Hope UK.
